Agree with Shane, close rounds that can go either way should go to the champion, a champion shouldn't lose a title in doubt. Unfortunately this seems to be disregarded for A side fighters or fighters with most potential for broadcasters and sanctioning bodies. Such as Canelo taking GGG crown in rematch, that fight was too close could go either way most felt to GGG. Tyson Fury vs Klitschko, yes Klitschko struggled but Fury wasn't hitting Klitschko either every round was close, Fury was giving rounds just for making them close as an underdog, is that really enough to end a 10 year reign?
